Manny Villar C5 – Hard Work and Patience

When Manny Villar was vying to become the President of the Philippines in 2010 his
campaign slogan was “Hard Work and Patience.” Whereas other politicians come up with
catchy slogans meant to inspire the public, Manny’s credo defined the better part of his
life. See, it was through hard work and patience that Manny was eventually able to amass
a great deal of wealth and eventually vault himself into the public eye. Today, Villar
resides as a well-respected and admired politician.

It wasn’t until 1992 that Manny decided to run for office. Representing the district of
Las Pinas-Muntinlupa, Manny defeated his rivals by a convincing margin. He held his
position in the House of Representatives for nine years, eventually going on to become
the Speaker of the House during his third term. Manny’s surge in popularity was no
accident. In fact, the primary reason Manny was elected in such compelling fashion is
because he had been providing stable housing to the impoverished for approximately 15
years prior.

Always ambitious and never relenting, Manny ran for Senate in the year 2001. Given
his vaulted reputation it came as little surprise when he received 11 million votes. He
was reelected in 2007 and chosen as Senate President around that time. He also served
as a chairman on various boards, including the Public Order and Foreign Relations
committees.

While in office Manny was known for paying attention to the needs of the people. He
promoted development and proposed the C-5 Road Project which would help to alleviate
traffic in and around some of the most densely populated areas in the Philippines.

A recognized Distinguished Alumnus of the University of the Philippines, Manny Villar
has had nothing short of a remarkable career in politics. Many lower income families
have him to thank for the shelter he provided them. The culmination of Manny’s efforts
resulted in him almost winning the Presidential election in 2010. Despite the narrow loss,
Manny continues to be a champion of the people, and hopes to pioneer new advances to
enhance the quality of his countrymen’s lives.

Pastor Randy Ray

Born on March 6th 1950 Pastor Randy Ray is one of the most notable members of the local community of Floridas State Capital.

He runs the North Florida Christian High School which is home to some notable alumni including a television star on Donald Trumps Apprentice Television show and football star Casey Weldon.

Being charitable and active in the community is obviously very important to pastor randy ray and he is active with some of the following committees and charities: Haven of Rest Rescue Mission Tallahassee, Word of Life, and s.c.o.r.e International.

In his spare time he enjoys Golfing, going to work out at Golds Gym, and has been married to Jan Ray for over 40 years.
